We would like to congratulate Daniel Binkowski on defending his thesis and earning a Master’s degree in engineering from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology. The subject of his master’s thesis was “The influence of mechanical activation of volcanic ash on selected properties of ash-cement mortars”. This is another diploma thesis of Daniel, the main topic of which was the use of a waste additive for cement mortar. The research was aimed at assessing the ability to use mechanically activated volcanic ash in construction, establishing the possibility of reducing the production costs of cement mortar or concrete, while maintaining the technical requirements for modern composites.
Congratulations once again, we wish you even more academic successes as well as a great summer break!
