We are pleased to inform  that the CAS team has prepared two independent expert Opinions for the Consortium of Contractors: Mitsubishi Hitachi Power System Europe GmbH and Polimex Mostostal SA, which were the basis for the conclusion of an annex and a settlement to the Agreement with the Employer for the supply and assembly of the Gas and Steam Unit at  Żerań Heat and Power Plant in Warsaw.

CAS opinion on the analysis of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the timely implementation of the project, made it possible to conclude an annex extending the contract termination date to September 30, 2021 and awarding additional remuneration for the Contractor to compensate the costs of extending the works.

On the other hand, the CAS Opinion on the revaluation of the Contract Price, due to the, unforeseeable at the time of submitting the offer, increase in the cost of acquiring production factors, contributed to the increase in the Contract Price and, consequently, to awarding additional remuneration to the Contractor.

We are proud that our expert knowledge and many years of experience have been reflected in the changes introduced to the Contractor’s Agreement, as well as that we can implement such significant and interesting projects.
