The Warsaw Uprising Museum plans to construct a new three-story pavilion based on the architectural concept prepared by Nizio Design International. The project entails creating new functional spaces, including a new entrance zone, designed to open the facility to the city while maintaining a dialogue between history and the present.
A key challenge for the Investor was to determine whether the design concept developed in 2018 could be executed within current market and budgetary conditions. To address this, CAS was engaged to prepare a comprehensive investor’s cost estimate, intended to verify the initial assumptions and provide reliable data for further decision-making.
Commissioned by the Warsaw Uprising Museum, the CAS team prepared a detailed cost analysis of the planned investment.
The scope of work included:
Preparation of estimated costs for the expansion execution.
Verification of the compliance of design assumptions with the construction market realities of 2025.
Support for the Investor in the internal assessment of the planned budget’s adequacy.
Realistic Budget Planning – The Client received a precise cost estimate based on current market data, serving as a solid foundation for further financial decisions.
Minimization of Investment Risk – Verifying the 2018 concept against current market realities allowed for the early identification of potential risks associated with cost underestimation and enabled their mitigation.
Strategic Decision-Making Support – Our analysis provided the Investor with key data necessary to assess project feasibility and the adequacy of secured funds, significantly strengthening the internal decision-making process.
The objective of CAS is to prevent disputes during various stages of project implementation and to resolve disputes through the specification of claims and defense against those claims.
