In our day-to-day operations, our top priority is delivering the highest level of professional expertise. To provide the best solutions, we need to be right where the heart of the industry beats — listening, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from key market debates.

The Congress serves as an excellent platform for discussing grand blueprints. It is fair to say that the pipeline of planned infrastructure projects in Poland is currently just as long and impressive as the event’s speaker lineup. However, reality can often be less optimistic, requiring an objective perspective.

Unfortunately, while we are engaging in panel discussions today, a significant portion of these investments is effectively “stuck” at the National Appeal Chamber (KIO).

What challenges is the sector currently facing?

• Massive backlog at the KIO: We are witnessing an unprecedented volume of procurement appeals, which is effectively clogging the system.

• Capacity bottlenecks: Adjudicating bodies are struggling to keep pace with the influx of cases, creating severe systemic bottlenecks.

• Real-world delays: Instead of moving straight from legal chambers to the construction site, projects are left at a standstill for months on end.

We strongly believe that today’s meetings and debates will help forge solution-oriented paths to break this deadlock and streamline tendering processes in the future 🤝.
